Effective witnessing- the role of violent communication

In the previous study, we considered the persuasive disposition of communicating the Faith to unbelieving people. This is the ideal scenario. Many cases may not be suitable for this style of communication. In some cases, it would be mistaken for weakness. Each case has to be taken as it comes. To diversify our approach, we take a look at how violence sometimes is required to plug souls from the verge of eternal damnation.
Texts:                    Gen 19: 13-16; Matt 11:12; 16:6-9; 21:12-13; Acts 5:1-5; 13:6-12; 16:16-18; 1Cor 2:4; Rev 12:11
Discussion points
1.       What will the Kingdom of God struggle against as stated by Jesus?
2.       What qualities must we possess to meet up with the challenges?
3.       Give examples of how these people confronted violent antagonism to the accomplishment of the will of the Kingdom of God:
a.       Jesus
b.      Paul
c.       Peter
d.      The angels to Lot
e.      Bartimaus
f.        The woman with the “issue of blood”
g.       Jairus
4.       Apply these qualities in communication of the gospel to unbelieving people.
The fact that we struggle not against flesh and blood does not make us vulnerable to be relegated to abuse and disdain by scorners. There may be times when we may need to make use of the arsenal within our spiritual caveat to punish disobedience. This way, we may at least protect the integrity of the gospel even if we do not get to save those who might connive with the enemy to bring us to disrepute. You can be sure the Lord shall stand to defend you!
