Manifestations of God

God is invisible and it is understandable that He manifests Himself to us so we are NOT easily deceived. In many ways, He has done so; including our consciences, using words and overt physical signs. Lack of these “manifestations” do not in any way invalidate the existence of God, but may suggest the absence of people that could be utilised to show forth the POWER of God. He is able to use anything when humans are unavailable. God is not unsure of Himself and does not show up in order to prove He is God, but so that we are helped to keep our trust in Him. This is particularly so for unbelievers, so they are able to put their faith in Him to the saving of their souls. Paul echoed to the Corinthian church that his message to the church at that time was not according to men’s wisdom, but the POWER of God, so that their faith will be in God and not men. We must thus crave the manifestations of God in order to get men to hold on to the substance of what we believe rather than on what we p...

Witnesses for God

Although our consciences are the greatest and most personal witness of the existence of God, there exists a gamut of evidence that leaves men without excuse. God’s endurance with men has led to plurality of witnesses in order to provide equal chances for all men to be saved. Getting men to know God was a priority of Jesus’ earthly ministry. God, our maker

England is reported as a third country with 17% of its sub population self-proclaimed atheists, after Germany (20%) and France (34%). The agenda of a "godless society" has been pushed so far by these people that virtually all systems in England have downplayed religion, as a 'personal' belief. In contrast, sexuality terms such as homo-, trans- and bi-sexuality are more publicly utilised than religion. The trend is drifting down towards threatening developing countries with withdrawal of aids if they fail to recognise these "instinctive human RIGHTs". More and more greedy people are filing for asylum status, and are being granted same on grounds of persecution for their sexual preferences in their home countries. The believer in today's world must live circumspectly, not only to self guard his/her salvation but also develop a strategy for converting a difficultly perverted generation. Texts: Job 4:17, 35:10, Ps 95:6, Prov 22:2, Isa 17:7, 45:9 Disc...
