Righteousness

Introduction: If the Kingdom of God was restricted to food and drink only, many unbelievers would qualify. The hallmark of God’s kingdom however are righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Righteousness is a state of right standing with God and not merely the act of doing correct things. Many people have been enduring the uncomfortable laws of government. They are doing right things, but they cannot be considered to be righteous, as their obedience is from fear of the consequence of disobedience. If law enforcement agents cease to operate, you will be amazed the degree of lawlessness that will manifest in many societies. A righteous person therefore, is one who will continue to do right things whether he/she is being watched or not. He is his own law as his status/constitution has been changed at the level of the spirit. He finds it not too burdensome to do right things. God is righteous and He wants those who follow Him to be righteous. He has given us all things that pertain...

Restoration of the supernatural

Introduction: Eccl 1:9 states, " The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." The verse above signifies that the principles behind events in the world. There is nothing new that shall emerge as a surprise for the Lord to conjure a new strategy for. The implication of this is that if we follow the pattern of living exemplified by those who succeeded as narrated in the Bible, we shall achieve similar results as them. The same applies to exhibiting supernatural dispositions. We have seen in previous studies how it matters to know the mind of God. We shall in this study, undertake a critical review of examples of communication experiences documented in the scripture with aim to stimulate a desire for such interaction with the Lord.
