Nature of God

Introduction: God created humans in His image, at least before procreation through births. In other words, our nature reflects the very nature of God, at least before the fall. Our senses derive from the fact that God has advanced senses. The converse is not true, since we are a reflection of God and not His very self. In many ways, our senses are limited to perform a few tasks. This makes us finite, whereas God exists infinitely. In many situations, especially when confronted by unpleasant circumstances, we tend to distrust the existence of God. This however, does not change the very truth about the nature and disposition of God. Ways of God

The ways of God are distinctly different from men’s. There are always conflicts between our preferences and God’s. The believer must thus renounce his ways in order to please God. No matter how pristine our methods are, they never measure up to God’s; as man’s righteousness is like filthy rags before the Lord. It is thus a concept of ‘make the vessel right and everything in it is right, and make the vessel bad and whatever it contains is bad’. In this study, we will learn about the ways of God, how we can access and harness it to advantage.
