Nehushtan...God is jealous

Introduction: One of the names of God is Jealous. He is incensed with the jealousy that kindles His wrath should it be provoked. In many ways, we provoke Him to jealousy. Were it not for the mercy of the Lord, we would have been consumed many times over. God is good and always provided solutions to problems that we encounter. In many circumstances, these solutions have ended up taking up the place of God and received the glory due to Him. In today’s study we will critically examine the jealousy of God. Case study of Cain...God is patient and merciful

Introduction:    The best method for knowledge of any man is through personal discourse with such a personality. However in most circumstances, at least before a proximity is created for such intimacy, knowledge of relationship experiences of God's acquaintances can provide invaluable resource for avoidance of flaws if and when we become associated with Him. God is happy to reveal Himself, His characters and dispositions in diverse ways because He is always seeking for worshippers. Helpers of faith

It is important to understand that faith is a central theme in dealings with God. We need faith to appreciate His divine being and power. We need faith to exist and appreciate the essence of life. We need faith to please God. We are ineffective without faith. Indeed we cannot imagine we can have access to heaven if we cannot as much have faith in God to face daily temporal challenges. Just as it is with all virtues, faith can dwindle if not well nourished. We need to know how to jealously guard faith, being the most vital treasure that can be got. We will study how to enhance trust in God. Texts: 1Pet 1:7, Heb 6:12, James 1:3, 2Pet 1:5-8, James 2:7 1. Discuss the value God places on faith. Heb 11:3, Rom 3:3 2. Why does God require faith?

Someone once said, "It is the duty of God to care and protect us otherwise He will be sacked." Many people pose the query, "If God is real, why does He allow so many horrible things to happen to the earth such as earthquakes and other natural disasters in which many innocent victims and children die?' 'Since He is all-knowing, God could move things in the world towards self preservation'", they acclaim. The scripture teaches us that God does nothing but in response to faith. Elsewhere, it is written that faith is the only possible means of giving God pleasure. What is so important about faith that God demands it from us? Texts Jer 9:23,24; Heb 11:1-6; Isa 55:8-11; Deut 8:3; Matt 4:4; Rom 9:11-21; Mark 11:23,24; John 1:18; 1John 4:12; Isa 1:19 Faith Pyramid 1. The knowledge of God is hinged on faith. 2. God has set principles to work for Him. 3. The faith pyramid. Col 1:16
