Disposition for successful life in the spirit
In many ways, believers want to certainly know how to access spiritual power not so much for the benefit of the kingdom but for the comfort of this mundane life. No wonder, there is so much frustrations among some believers that they resort to using the formula of “asking what you want in prayer” by seeking for the death of their perceived “enemies”, having the notion that these are responsible for their woes. Nevertheless, the scripture is not silent on how we might achieve and retain power with God in this life as well as inherit everlasting life hereafter. God is benevolent with His power and had promised, “…and you shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be MY witnesses…”. The power from God therefore, is aimed to produce results in our lives that indicate the truthfulness of the message we bear. This is true witnessing. Today’s study regards examining our attitudes to determine if they align well with God’s intentions, so that we may have more of this power in operation in our lives.

Summary: All things start and end in God. The days we have on earth are limited, not to be choked with issues that our passions drive us into; but they are “talents” with which to trade and yield profits for the Possessor of life. Remember, if it pleases God, it does not matter what others may feel. Live on.
