Predestination?
Introduction: From the comments
and contributions of several of us during the ensuing weeks of bible studies,
it has become apparent to lay a foundation to the way of the Lord regarding His
interactions with humans. It is still unclear in the minds of some people
whether we are just living out a predetermined script or we are responsible for
our destinies by the way we conduct our affairs. Whichever way we view outcomes
in life does not really change the way God has set principles to operate.
Texts: Deut 7:6-8; Exod 3:19; 7:13; Acts 4:27-28; Eph 1:11; Rom 9:17-23;
1Sam 2:30

According to the

·
What are the

Summary: Our destinies are
sealed and delivered by our response to the invitation and instructions of the
Lord (1Sam 15:28, 1Sam 2:30). We can choose to reject those instructions
through vain philosophies or accept the invitations through child-like faith.
For the just shall live by his faith.
