Righteousness

Introduction: If the Kingdom of God was restricted to food and drink only, many unbelievers would qualify. The hallmark of God’s kingdom however are righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Righteousness is a state of right standing with God and not merely the act of doing correct things. Many people have been enduring the uncomfortable laws of government. They are doing right things, but they cannot be considered to be righteous, as their obedience is from fear of the consequence of disobedience. If law enforcement agents cease to operate, you will be amazed the degree of lawlessness that will manifest in many societies. A righteous person therefore, is one who will continue to do right things whether he/she is being watched or not. He is his own law as his status/constitution has been changed at the level of the spirit. He finds it not too burdensome to do right things. God is righteous and He wants those who follow Him to be righteous. He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness that through them, we can be participants of His divine nature. May we acquire the attribute of Righteousness so we reign with Him in the kingdom of His dear son. This way we shall be espoused by the abundance and dividends of His love and abundance.

Certain scientific experiments only become successful under specific conditions. We are taught by physiologists that our systems exist within and internal milieu, the disturbance of which presents as disease. Righteousness is an important status, or “conditioning” necessary for us to provide an optimum milieu without which we end up with aborted outcomes in life. Pursue righteousness and you can be sure to be celebrated.

Self Evaluation

We are encouraged to routinely check on ourselves so as to avoid condemnation. Judging oneself prevents others from judging us. Also, as we get close to the end of the year, it will be helpful to sit back, critically take a fair look at things that have transpired spiritually and otherwise, and ascertain areas of improvement for the future. It is a true statement the fact that if you aim at nothing, you hit something; and that is, Nothing.  It is a factual lie that the good things that happen to us do so by chance. Even miracles happen to people that show disposition for them. For fear of not being described as failures, many people prefer to continue “sheepishly” in life, allowing the theology of “whatever will be will be” , shunning away from drawing out plans for their lives.
